Auristor DKMS Kernel Module Notes

Recovery of Failed Install

Installation of Auristor modules using DKMS will fail if the kernel headers are not installed. Once in this state the kernel headers cannot be install while DKMS is attempting to build the Auristor module. The solution is to remove the auristorfs-modules-dkms package, install the kernel headers, and re-install the auristorfs-modules-dkms package.

   # apt purge auristorfs-modules-dkms
   # apt install -f
   # apt install auristorfs-modules-dkms
