Using Email Clients

Email clients like ThunderBird, Mulberry, mutt, and Outlook can be configured to access email stored on the central email server. Each client has its own way of describing and storing the required configuration details, but all clients need the same information. The required information is described below.

Inbound Connections

For reading mail the email user agent should have the following minimum settings.

• IMAP Host Name: imap.ca-zephyr.org
• STARTTLS: Yes

Outbound

For sending mail the email user agent should have the following settings:

• SMTP Host Name: smtp.ca-zephyr.org
• Port: 587
• Authentication: Use name and password
• Use STARTTLS
